There’s nothing quite like the atmosphere of a festival — I always liken it to a football match, but everyone is on the same team.
When shooting festivals I always like to spread my time between the crowd and the grounds, not just the stages, as its the people that make these events great.
No such thing as too big or small
I’ve shot events spanning from 16,000 people camping weeks right down to local regional one-day showcases.
In all cases I am happy to coordinate with a team or roam freely, drip-feeding images during the event or full set within days .
